Trauma & Grief Resilience Support Sessions with a CIAYT Therapist
Grief is the human expression of love enduring loss. It does not go away, as love stays. Even with traumas not involving a loss of a loved one, we can have grief over the personal loss (rooted in our love for ourselves) of our way of life, mental health, personal sense of well-being and safety etc. Grief is a natural, healthy reaction to trauma and loss. Grief is especially hard to endure when we miss the one we love and have to face the future without them. Grief and trauma are complex in that they usually coincide and are made up of unique, overlapping sets of emotions that are unique to each person's unique experiences. Gratitude is grief's friendly guide, as it can afford us the opportunity to continue actively loving and honoring our loved one who is no longer with us physically. Joy doesn't mean absence of pain. They co-exist. When you allow yourself to be (exist) fully, they co-exist within you. Your Grief Doula is both a Trauma-Informed Resiliency Coach and Holistic Therapist and will support and empower you through hardship suffering and recovery to a new way of life where joy can coexist with your grief and your heart, mind, body and soul can break free from suffering. Your Support & Resiliency Program includes a private sessions package as well as bimonthly online workshop(s) up until your program end date even when you complete the program earlier. An optional Facebook support group is also included. Also included in the program are reading materials including the following: one book is provided for the 8 hour session package option, 2 for the 12 hour session package option and 4 for the 33 hour session package option. We are open to Sliding Scale Needs/ Requests when documentation can be provided. Contact us to discuss.
